Course Goals
Before you begin to learn the basics of biology, you should be familiar with the requirements for this unit. By the end of this study guide course, you should be able to:
· Use appropriate vocabulary when describing organisms, organization, and basic measurement units.
· Know and describe the criteria an organism must fulfill in order to be considered alive.
· Describe and provide examples for the five levels of organization.
· Use the metric measurement system.
· Correctly identify appropriate uses for different measurements.
